Toothed Wheels for Chain LH close left right

Toothed Wheels for Chain LH

Toothed Wheels for TOPONE Chain LH are designed for bucket elevators operating with LH round steel chains. The wheel uses welded steel construction, while the hub is available with a raw or machined bore according to customer requirements. Shaft mounting options include a keyway or preparation for a keyless clamping system. Standard configurations support LH chain sizes from 14 × 50 mm to 38 × 144 mm with different tooth counts and pitch line diameters. Other numbers of teeth are available on request.

  • Introduction

    Toothed Wheels for TOPONE chain LH provide chain engagement in bucket elevator systems. The welded steel wheel body supports TOPONE LH chains in sizes from LH 14 × 50 to LH 38 × 144.

    The hub can be supplied with:

       An unmachined bore;

       A machined bore according to customer requirements;

       A keyway;

       Machining for a keyless clamping system.

    Individual teeth for TOPONE LH wheels use special case-hardened NiCrMo alloy steel. Two screws with nuts connect each tooth to the wheel hub. The precision fasteners comply with the requirements described in the TOPONE catalogue:

       The screw installed through the larger hole of Type A teeth uses highly resistant alloy steel with a minimum property class of 10.9 according to UNI EN ISO 898.

       Both screws used with Type B teeth meet the same minimum 10.9 property class.

       The precision fitting follows DIN 609.

       The smaller screw used with Type A teeth has a minimum property class of 8.8.

    Teeth can also use a modified hole centre position to increase the wheel pitch line diameter when working with chains whose pitch has increased through wear. Depending on the chain size and number of teeth, radial tooth adjustment can reach up to 30 mm.

    Standards

    Name: Toothed Wheels for Chain LH

    MOQ: 1 Piece

    Package: Carton + Steel Pallet

    Manufacturing Standards:
    The wheel uses welded steel fabrication. The hub is available with an unmachined bore or a machined bore according to customer requirements. Mounting options include a keyway or machining for a keyless clamping system. Individual teeth use special case-hardened NiCrMo alloy steel.

    The high-strength fastener installed through the larger hole of a Type A tooth, and both fasteners used with Type B teeth, have a minimum property class of 10.9 according to UNI EN ISO 898. Precision fitting tolerances follow DIN 609. The smaller fastener for a Type A tooth has a minimum property class of 8.8.

    Testing Standards:
    The catalogue does not specify separate testing standards. Chain size, tooth count, pitch line diameter, main hole centre radius and standard wheel dimensions shall correspond to the selected catalogue configuration.

    Application Standards:
    Designed for bucket elevators operating with LH chains:

    • LH 14x50

    • LH 16x64

    • LH 19x75

    • LH 22x86

    • LH 26x100

    • LH 30x120

    • LH 34x136

    • LH 38x144

    Maintenance Standards:
    Individual teeth allow assembly on the wheel hub with two screws and nuts. Teeth with a modified hole centre position can increase the pitch line diameter for chains with pitch growth caused by wear. Radial tooth adjustment can reach up to 30 mm depending on chain size and tooth count. The catalogue advises contacting the manufacturer for the applicable tightening torque.
