A manual lever chain hoist, also known as a come-along, is a device with a lever or handle that can be used to pull, drag, position, or lift loads with one hand. The design of a lever hoist is similar to that of a hand chain operated hoist. While all of our lever chain hoists are rated for overhead lifting, not all come-alongs are rated for this. Be sure to check that the product has "Hoist" in the title or otherwise states a lifting capacity before purchasing if it will be used for overhead lifting. Manual lever chain hoists are designed to be used in commercial and industrial applications with tight spaces and low headroom.

The working process of lever hoists are quite simple with its handle being attached to a block which has an internal ratchet and gear mechanism. They work by cranking the lever up and down to power these ratchets. To facilitate the easy moving of the load up and down, the direction of the internal gear is switched. The switching of the internal gear is an easy process. The hook at the end of the lever block is used to attach it to the loads as it provides a secure support. Lever blocks can be easily customized as per customer requirements.
