Studless Link Anchor Chain is manufactured from flash butt welded steel links without internal studs. The chain is designed for marine anchoring, offshore mooring, floating structures, and general marine applications where flexibility, reduced weight, and easy handling are required. Standard chain diameters range from 12.5 mm to 90 mm, with larger sizes available upon request. Products are available in CM490 and CM690 steel grades with U1, U2, and U3 strength levels. Standard delivery lengths are 25 m or 27.5 m per shot, and each chain is permanently marked to ensure complete traceability.
Studless Link Anchor Chain is manufactured from flash butt welded steel without internal studs. Compared with stud link chain, the absence of the center stud reduces chain weight and provides greater flexibility during handling, storage, and deployment. The chain is suitable for marine anchoring systems, offshore mooring systems, floating structures, aquaculture, and towing applications.
Standard products are manufactured using CM490 or CM690 steel and are available in U1, U2, and U3 grades with nominal diameters from 12.5 mm to 90 mm. Each chain is produced through flash butt welding, heat treatment, calibration, dimensional inspection, proof load testing, and breaking load testing to meet international marine requirements. Standard chain lengths are supplied in 25 m or 27.5 m shots, with Kenter shackles, joining shackles, swivels, anchors, and other accessories available for complete anchoring and mooring systems.

Manufacturing Standards: Manufactured in accordance with ISO 1704, IACS Unified Requirement W18, IACS Unified Requirement A1, applicable EN, GB, and recognized shipbuilding specifications. Products are available for certification by ABS, BV, CCS, DNV, LR, NK, KR, RINA, RS, and RMRS according to customer requirements.
Testing Standards: Each chain undergoes chemical composition verification, mechanical property testing, dimensional inspection, flash weld inspection, proof load testing, and breaking load testing in accordance with applicable classification society requirements. Heat treatment, hardness verification, visual inspection, calibration measurement, and permanent identification marking are completed before shipment. Material certificates, inspection reports, and full traceability documentation are supplied with every order.
Application Standards: Suitable for offshore mooring systems, FPSOs, floating production platforms, offshore wind projects, fish farming, tug and towing operations, floating docks, buoys, marine engineering, and general anchoring applications where studless chain is specified.
Maintenance Standards: Inspect the chain regularly for wear, corrosion, elongation, cracked welds, deformed links, surface damage, and identification markings. Chain dimensions, wear allowance, and service condition should be evaluated according to the applicable IACS, classification society, and vessel maintenance requirements. Damaged or excessively worn chain sections should be removed from service and replaced to maintain anchoring or mooring system integrity.
