AISI Stainless Steel 304 DIN 5685A Short Anchor Link Chain is a welded short link chain manufactured in accordance with DIN 5685A dimensional requirements. Produced from AISI 304 stainless steel, the chain provides excellent corrosion resistance, dimensional consistency, and smooth operation with compatible marine equipment. Standard chain sizes range from 2 mm to 16 mm, with larger sizes available upon request. The chain is widely used for boat anchor systems, mooring, marine hardware, decorative applications, and general utility purposes. Each production batch is inspected for dimensional accuracy, weld integrity, and mechanical performance before shipment.
AISI Stainless Steel 304 DIN 5685A Short Anchor Link Chain is manufactured from AISI 304 austenitic stainless steel using electric resistance welded short link construction. The chain complies with the dimensional requirements of DIN 5685A, which specifies the link pitch, inside width, and manufacturing tolerances for short link welded chains. The compact link design provides greater flexibility and allows the chain to pass smoothly through guide rollers, pulleys, and storage lockers.
AISI 304 stainless steel contains approximately 18% chromium and 8% nickel, providing good resistance to atmospheric corrosion, freshwater, and general marine environments. The smooth polished surface improves appearance while reducing surface contamination and simplifying routine cleaning. For applications involving continuous seawater exposure or high chloride concentrations, AISI 316 stainless steel is generally recommended.
Standard products are available in chain diameters from 2 mm to 16 mm and are commonly supplied for small boat anchor systems, anchor ropes, mooring lines, dock installations, yacht accessories, barrier systems, architectural decoration, and general hardware applications. Every production batch undergoes weld inspection, dimensional calibration, mechanical property verification, and visual inspection to ensure product consistency and traceability.

Name: AISI Stainless Steel 304 DIN 5685A Short Anchor Link Chain
MOQ: 100 Meters
Package: Steel Drum / Wooden Box / Steel Pallet / Bulk Packing
Manufacturing Standards: Manufactured in accordance with DIN 5685A, applicable DIN 685, ISO 9001 manufacturing quality requirements, ASTM A580, ASTM A276, and EN 10088 material specifications for AISI 304 stainless steel. The chain is produced using welded short link construction for marine and general industrial applications.
Testing Standards: Each chain undergoes dimensional inspection, weld inspection, visual inspection, mechanical property verification, proof load testing (where specified), stainless steel material verification, and surface finish inspection before shipment. Production batches are supplied with inspection reports, material certificates, and complete traceability documentation upon request.
Application Standards: Suitable for boat anchor systems, small marine anchoring, yacht equipment, dock mooring, marina facilities, architectural decoration, barrier systems, agricultural equipment, general hardware, and non-overhead marine applications. The chain is not designed for overhead lifting, crane lifting, or suspended load handling.
Maintenance Standards: Inspect the chain regularly for wear, elongation, cracked welds, deformation, pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and surface contamination. Wash with fresh water after seawater exposure to minimize salt deposits. Replace any chain section showing excessive wear, weld defects, or permanent deformation to maintain safe service performance.
