G2130 3/8" Bolt Type Anchor Shackle is a U.S. pattern bow shackle manufactured from forged high-strength carbon steel with an alloy steel bolt, nut, and cotter pin assembly. The bolt-type design provides a permanent and vibration-resistant connection for lifting, rigging, marine, construction, and industrial applications. The shackle is available with 4:1 or 6:1 design factors, depending on the heat treatment specification. Standard finishes include hot-dip galvanized, powder coated, electrophoretic black, and self-color. Each shackle is individually proof tested, inspected, and permanently marked for complete product traceability.


  • Introduction

    G2130 3/8" Bolt Type Anchor Shackle is manufactured to the U.S. anchor shackle design with a bow body and bolt-type securing system consisting of a bolt, hex nut, and cotter pin. Compared with screw pin shackles, the bolt-type configuration provides greater resistance to loosening caused by vibration, repeated loading, and long-term installation, making it suitable for permanent or semi-permanent lifting and rigging connections.

    The shackle body is drop forged from high-strength carbon steel, while the bolt is manufactured from alloy steel to provide the required mechanical properties. Depending on customer requirements, the product is available with a 4:1 design factor or a 6:1 design factor. The 6:1 version is manufactured with heat-treated load-bearing components to achieve a higher minimum breaking load.

    Standard surface finishes include hot-dip galvanized for marine and outdoor service, powder coating, electrophoretic black coating, and self-color. Each shackle undergoes forging, heat treatment (where applicable), machining, proof load testing, dimensional inspection, and final assembly before shipment.

Each shackle undergoes proof load testing, dimensional inspection, visual inspection, mechanical property verification, hardness testing (where applicable), heat treatment verification, thread inspection, and permanent identification marking before shipment. Every batch is supplied with inspection records, material certificates, and complete traceability documentation.

    Application Standards: Suitable for overhead lifting, crane rigging, chain slings, wire rope slings, synthetic slings, marine lifting, offshore operations, construction, mining, utility work, transportation, and general industrial material handling.
